P-90-style replacements
What is a P-90?. It's a big, fat single coil pickup with more magnet power and a wider spread of magnet wire. With adjustable height pole pieces, it's the perfect "beefed up" singlecoil for any electric guitar.
A basic vintage design, the P-90 has been a staple of classic tone for over 50 years. Add SHGP handwound flavor and you get the perfect blend of vintage and modern.

P 5000- Our lowest output, great for the matching neck within a set, or a low wound bridge. If you are looking to reduce the bass responce (particularly in the neck position), and enhance the high-end in a P-90 style pickup, look no further. 5.5k ohms (+/- .2k)
P 6000- Slightly hotter than out P 5000, jangle with a bit more bass. If you are looking for more high-end in a P-90 style pickup, look no further. 6.5k ohms (+/- .2k)
P 7000- Right in the middle. Great for a low wound bridge pickup, or a still beefy neck (+/- .2k)
P 8000- With standard output, this is perfect for a vintage toned bridge or fat neck position. 8.2k ohms (+/- .2k)
P 9000- add a touch of heat to our P replacements and you get the 9000. Give your bridge spot more body and vintage grind for clean, clear rhythm work and push your tubes into light overdrive. 9k ohms (+/- .2k)
Pole piece spacing 2 " for neck, middle, and bridge positions. Neck is reverse wound and reverse magnetic polarity for maximum hum cancellation with both pickups on. Alternate wiring options available upon request.
We use alnico 5 magnets for clarity, but if you want an alternate tone, here are the possibilities-
alnico 5- gives the endtone the most shimmer
alnico 4- rolls down the highs a bit
alnico 3- pronounced mids and punch
alnico 2- vintage fatness with more body and buttery highs
alnico 8- aggressive vintage with more output and highs ($10 upcharge per pickup)
