Single-coil output spread out
across 2 bobbins renders a full, juicy tone somewhere in between a humbucker
and a single-coil and will keep up with any output bridge pickup. The Bucker
Lite is great for reducing the "boominess" that neck pickups in mahogany
bodies (Les Paul, PRS, etc...) are known for. For use in the neck position
and should work well with any bridge pickup. Although suggested for the neck
spot, if you need a low output bridge pickup go for it! Choose the alnico 2 magnet for a low-end tone that gives your sound the perfect fullness, alnico 3 for a touch more treble, alnico 4 magnet that is brighter with a stable low-end, the alnico 5 for "stratty" punch with great body, or ceramic bar for more midrange. All pickups are wax potted to reduce microphonic squeal unless ordered otherwise. >watch the videos |
